DGZ Chartered Accountants is a dual partnered Accounting practice lead by Bradley Grogan and Scott Grogan. Its origins can be traced to a practice commenced by Mr Cyril Courtice after World War II.
During a period in the 1980's, the firm underwent a number of name changes to Spry Walker and Co and then to Touche Ross whilst it was associated with one of the larger world wide accounting practices. This association ceased when Touche Ross amalgamated with other international accounting firms to become KPMG Peat Marwick.
Gordan Duncan then joined with Bradley Grogan and Peter Zunker to form the partnership of Duncan, Grogan and Zunker in May 1994. The firm moved its operations to 24 Barolin Street where it still operates from today. Scott Grogan joined the partnership in December 1999 after the departure of Peter Zunker. Following the retirement of Gordon Duncan in June 2007, the firm changed its name and is now known as DGZ Chartered Accountants.
In June 2006 the firm expanded into the Financial Services arena to compliment and consolidate the services provided by DGZ Chartered Accountants. Peter Hamilton was introduced as a Partner to run DGZ Financial Planning.
